Salisbury City Council has announced its 2026 Christmas line-up, promising weeks of seasonal fun for all ages.
The celebrations begin on November 20 with the return of Christmas Begins, a free event on Salisbury Market Place running from 1pm to 8.30pm.
It will feature live music, entertainment, stalls, and food and drink.
A spokesperson for Salisbury City Council said: “Celebrate the festive season with Salisbury City Council and enjoy what Salisbury has to offer.”
From November 20 to December 31, Christmas on the Square will transform Guildhall Square with a pop-up hub featuring Santa’s Grotto, food, a bar, live music, entertainment, and retail chalets.
Santa’s Grotto will run until December 24, giving families a chance to meet Santa, take a photo, and receive a gift for each child.
Tickets will be available soon via www.ticketsource.co.uk/salisbury-city-council.
The Salisbury Christmas Trail returns from November 20 to January 4, offering families a chance to explore festive installations around the city.
Trail maps can be collected from Salisbury Information Centre or Salisbury Cathedral, or downloaded from the city council website.
Festive markets will take place on the four Sundays before Christmas—November 29, and December 6, 13, and 20—from 10am to 4pm on Salisbury Market Place.
