The man had failed to appear before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court in September and December of 2022 after being charged with possession of Class A and B drugs and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
A quantity of Class A drugs found during the arrest led to a further suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
He remains in custody for questioning.
The man is also suspected of three crimes in Salisbury this month, including a break-in on Butts Terrace on Sunday, January 15, a burglary at the Nisa Local at The Crescent, also on Sunday, January 15, and is the second suspect to be arrested for a robbery on Cranebridge Road during the early morning hours of Saturday, January 28 in which two suspects made off with a handbag belonging to the victim’s partner.
