Two fire crews from Salisbury were called to reports of a garden shed on fire in Chalks Close at around 1.40 this afternoon (May 1).
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire crews from Salisbury attended a report of a garden shed on fire in Chalks Close Redlynch.
“The fire had spread to approximately 15 metres of fencing.
“Crews removed a portable gas cylinder from the shed and used a thermal imaging camera to monitor that it was cool and safe.
“The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets.”
